Lunch & Learn Community Mtg. Alcohol Awareness Month

Southwest Behavioral Health Services, a Chamber member, will be holding a community meeting/Lunch & Learn on Friday, April 18th for members of the Payson community around Alcohol Awareness Month, to include outreach and education to raise awareness about alcohol misuse and offer individuals with alcohol problems further resources.

21st Annual Beeline Cruise-In Car Show

The 21st Annual Beeline Cruise-In Car Show held Friday April 25th and Saturday April 26th” will be held at the beautiful Green Valley Park off of Old Main Street. Friday activities at Green Valley Park are geared for the car show entrants, club members and sponsors, and will include car registration, a cruise around town, returning to the park for an evening BBQ and entertainment with music, stories of old Payson and dancing. The Car Show on Saturday is open FREE to the public. There will be raffles, judging of the vehicles, Oldies Music, and items for sale from wonderful and varied vendors including a food court. At the end of the Show the raffle winners will be announced along with trophies. New this year is the Top 10 and the Best of Show that will be on display around the bandstand during the awards ceremony

PHS Adventure Club Hosting High Energy 5K Walk, Skip, Jump or Run

The Star Valley Color Craze 5K is a fun and family friendly paint race that is set to take place in beautiful Star Valley, AZ on April 26th, 2014. The run is being organized by, and all proceeds go to, the Payson High School Adventure Club. The club enables students to travel abroad gaining cultural knowledge and awareness.
